Met Eireenn has just issued a status level orange weather warning for wind that now includes Donegal from tomorrow Sunday. While this page wasn’t set up to be a weather page it would be more prudent to advise you just to be careful at this time and avoid unnecessary journeys or harm to yourself or others. We’re hearty folk up here in Donegal. We can handle it but let’s not get too complacent….

Southwest winds with mean speeds of 60 to 80 km/h with severe gusts of up to 120km/h, strongest on exposed hills and coasts, with a risk of coastal flooding.
