I place all my trust in you.

The Novena to the Sacred Heart is an invitation to us all to consciously and faithfully pray for 9 consecutive days as we bring before God our prayers and concerns at this time.

Our Parish Novena to the Sacred Heart is from Thursday 11 June to Friday 19 June – Feast of the Sacred Heart.

Some of us will make the Novena for ourselves or for people we know who are suffering from physical illness, mental illness, abuse of some kind, for those awaiting treatment, for those anxious and stressed and for anyone carrying a silent cross.

Novena Prayer:

Lord Jesus You have said:
“Ask and you shall receive.
Seek and you shall find,
knock and it shall be opened unto you.”
I come to You in faith and trust,
in love and in hope.
Let me know Your closeness to me,
and Your care for me and all who are dear to me.
My intention for this Novena is dear to me,
and I know that what is important to me,
is important to You.
Hear my prayer (We quietly mention our intentions . . . )

Grant what I ask,
and may I always trust
that in all that happens in life,
You will be close to me as my friend,
my guide and my Saviour.
And so, Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I place all my trust in You.

For anyone who prefers a paper copy, it is available for collection at Church porch. You may wish to bring a copy to a neighbour or friend. Hopefully many will connect with the webcam for the liturgies and prayer times.
