A small number of young people who also hope to be confirmed this year and now attend other schools are asked to come to the 1:30 pm Ceremony on that day.
This is a wonderful occasion of joy. While the parish already had our Ceremony of Light and some preparation has been done at home and in the schools, it is important that every person who is to be confirmed, attends a special Preparation Afternoon on Sunday 9th August at 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm in the Parish Hall, Lifford, beside Lifford NS.
That is also the day of registration for Confirmation of each young person. There will be a practical and spiritual preparation for the Sacrament.
(Please bring your own pen on the day and your own bottle of water/refreshment. )
NB: For the ceremony, Covid-19 protocols will mean that – Each family will be allocated one full pew each. The max number will be 8 which includes the child for Confirmation and also the sponsor ( if the sponsor is not one of the parents)

SUMMER MASS SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday Mass at 9:30 am

Please remember that all Masses are on the webcam:
https://clonleighparish.com/webcam-watch-live/
Please note that that collection boxes will be available at each Mass so that you can make your weekly contribution.
In order to keep everyone safe, and because some of our parishioners may be a little fearful of coming into a larger crowd, there are two additional Masses in the Summer Schedule. The Bishops have agreed to suspend the ’Sunday’ obligation during this time. To assist people, everyone who is part of our faith community is asked to attend one Mass in the week if you feel able to do so. e.g. You may decide to attend the Monday morning Mass, or the Thursday evening Mass as your weekly commitment to your faith. Those who were in the habit of attending Mass daily, are still welcome to do so.
BAPTISMS:
It is lovely that several of our young parents have already made contact seeking a
suitable time for the sacrament of Baptism for their newborn child.
During this Summer Schedule, Fr Colm is happy to facilitate Baptisms as much as possible. Please contact the Parish Office directly or via the ‘Get in Touch’ section of the website.
MARRIAGE CEREMONIES:
A number of couples have already been in touch to reschedule their wedding. If anyone needs to book a date for their wedding, please contact Fr Colm.
