The dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains in place at this time.
It is suggested that you attend any one of the above Masses throughout the week.
It is important that you use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter the church, wear a face covering during the services (unless exempt), remain alert to social distancing and follow the signs that are there for your protection. Your co-operation in this is much appreciated.

Parish Finance Committee:
There will be a finance committee meeting at the Church on Tuesday 15th September 2020 at 7.30pm. All members are asked to attend.
Opening of School Year Mass:
To mark the opening of our new school year there will be Mass on Monday 14th September at 11.15am in the Church. All pupils will be tuned in from their classrooms. I invite all parents who are free to come to the Church to celebrate this Mass or join us on the web cam.
National Grandparents Pilgrimage 2020:
National Grandparents Pilgrimage 2020 will be broadcast live today (Sunday) 13th September at 3.00pm from the Basilica at Knock Shrine. Grandparents and their families are invited to join online at www.knockshrine.ie/watch
COLLECTION:
Thank you for your generosity to the collection on the 16th August which amounted to € 1686.90 – Thank you also to those who contribute by Standing Order or through the donate button. Envelopes or cash contributions to the collection can be left in the boxes at the back of the Church any day of the week. Your ongoing financial support of the parish is much appreciated as it is vital in sustaining our parish.
GROWTH IN PRAYER & REFLECTIVE LIVING:
Drumalis Retreat Centre is hosting this one-year programme, online by Zoom, commencing Monday 14 September, 7.00pm-9.30pm. It aims to provide the tools and space to become attuned to God’s voice in the midst of the clamour of the world. Applications are now being accepted. Please note that that collection boxes will be available at each Mass so that you can make your weekly contribution.
In order to keep everyone safe, and because some of our parishioners may be a little fearful of coming into a larger crowd, the Bishops have agreed to suspend the ’Sunday’ obligation during this time. To assist people, everyone who is part of our faith community is asked to attend one Mass in the week if you feel able to do so. e.g. You may decide to attend the Monday morning Mass, or the Thursday morning Mass as your weekly commitment to your faith. Those who were in the habit of attending Mass daily, are still welcome to do so.
