Your Parish Newsletter for Easter Sunday 4th April 2021:
SUNDAY 4 APRIL 2021 – EASTER SUNDAY:
The Easter celebrations form the heart of our Christian living. We have journeyed in Holy week through the darkness of betrayal and abandonment towards the light of forgiveness and new life in the Resurrection of Christ. Our faith finds its real meaning in the Resurrection of Jesus.
As Easter people, we pray that the blessings, the joys, the wonders and the challenges of this holy day will renew us in spirit and encourage us to be faithful witnesses and beacons of God’s love and mercy in our daily lives.
Christ is risen! Alleluia!

Please continue to pray God’s protection on everyone at this time and remember, especially, the sick and housebound. I wish to thank those who took part in our Holy Week and Easter ceremonies – Grace and Rachel for providing the music and hymns and our Scripture readers. Your participation greatly enhanced our liturgies. Thank you as always to Hugh, our sacristan, for his work. Thank you all for joining in via our parish webcam. Thank you, as always, for your support, kindness and good wishes to me. May God bless you all. Fr Colm.
